Students are evaluated throughout the year from kindergarden to the end of primary. The year is divided into semesters: from September to January and from February to July.
Concerning English language learning, at the end of the school year, a summative evaluation is conducted in the classes using Cambridge assessment tools in order to give all stakeholders visibility on the learner’s progress. In terms of the French curriculum children of 6 and 7 years old take the national evaluations recommended by the Ministry of National Education.
Students are evaluated by competency.
Reports are sent to families twice a year: at the beginning of February and at the beginning of July.
In the kindergarden, it is an achievement report. Children from 6 to 11 years old have a competency based report.
Thelast two years of primary level classes reports must be kept: they will be requested when you register for the secondary school.
